Tain Motocross Track

Situated to the East of Tain, next to an old air field lies this Sand bases track.

This is a well laid out track which local Farmer and owner Pete looks after, he can regularly be seen grading the track before the weekend and from time to time you may see him out riding! This is a typical sand track that cuts & whoops up the more you ride it, with lines changing all the time, it under went some major changes last year 06 for the 1st round of the Adult Scottish, there plenty of variety of jumps twisty parts and long whooped straights, a very demanding track in all conditions. Due to the sand based ground it's more suited to riding in the winter, when it can handle all sorts of weather, in the summer the sand becomes to dry and dusty!
