Duns Motocross Track: Langton Lees Farm, Duns
Duns Motocross track has been running for over 10 years. Based in the Lammermuir Hills with some beautiful scenery as a backdrop to the track. The track itself has a clay based soil type which can have two very different effects on the track:
When its wet - the track can be bottomless! but fun!
When its dry - the track is hardpacked and fast!
There is a wide range of humps, bumps and jumps on the track, all of which have been man made. Including doubles, triples, table tops, plateau jumps, drop offs and speed jumps to suit a wide variety of rider levels from beginner to expert.
The track is open most of the year round depending on whether livestock is grazing on the track or not. Its best to telephone Dave Macvie first to check the track is open to avoid disapointment.
Directions:Langton Lees motocross track is located 3 miles west of Duns, on the Duns to Longformacus Road. Day rates are as follows: £5 for evenings £10 for full day
