Doune Moto Parc
Another cracking track! This again is mostly a sand based track, apart from the far corner section which is more hard packed. This track has everything you could think of from small doubles to a couple of massive table tops.The railway section is very rewarding when you master it's combination of table tops and doubles! This track is quite long and can be very demanding, especially when it gets a bit wet!, it can also be the opposite in the summer when its very dry the sand can be difficult to ride in! They do have a sprinkler system in place, which does help. In my opinion it tends to lean more towards supercross than motocross, but it's still mega fun to ride....
Theres an excellent kids track for auto's to 65's, again sand based with small but enjoyable jumps and plenty of run off areas, making it very safe for the kids starting out.The kids are also allowed to play on the start straight, where they can use a large oval to perfect their skills.Great for begineer's too.
Suits Novice to Expert. Open all year round, weather permitting. Saturdays from 10ish, Wednesday afternoons till dusk. Club joining fee required then £10 Adult , Junoirs 85's and up £5 Kids auto's, 65's etc
Directions: Take the A9 turn off for Doune (A820) travel along this road for about a mile then turn right for Argaty, travel up this road 1-2mls, track located on the left.
