The track has every feature you need from table tops to large drop offs, good size straights and superb bermed up corners which allow you to keep the speed up and Fly! round...There is a main feature double jump at the start finish, which provides a great spectacle for people watching. Here you will find some of Scotland's best ridersshowing of their skills! Don't be put of by it though as you can slow down and take the single with ease...This jump like the drop off can be quite a handful when the wind is up!

All the way round the track you will find good flowing designs that make it a pleasure (all be it a tiring one!) to ride. The drop off that I mentioned gives you quite a buzz, it's blind until you hit the ramp and there's a good straight before hand to build up speed. Also on this jump if you don't wish or aren't quite ready to jump it, there's a smaller ramp to the left that you can take. But from experience when you have done it once you'll get it everytime thereafter....

Balmullo's sand can take the worst of Scottish weather making an ideal place to practice, and keep fit during the winter months. The bottom straight is about the only part of the track that becomes boggy during wet times and can prove quite challenging to get through. Bear in mind when riding in sand you need to keep the gas on and break as late as you can for the corners...then use the berms to power round and away... If you keep this in mind you'll have the time of your life at Balmullo.....

The track can get quite busy at times, especially if theres nothing on, but it copes extremely well. It suits all abilities except the beginner, but the fitter you are the more you'll enjoy this place! It's not so good though for 65-85 as it places a lot of strain on the motors. I wouldn't recommend it for inexperienced youngsters,or adults just yet!
Its only Open Sundays from 11-ish till dusk, during the winter months, due to planning. £10 payable to the farmer who will collect or advise when entering.

Easily found from Balmullo Village, from the north take the first left and head straight down across small bridge and enter the farm to your left. South it's the first right at the Bulmullo Inn.

Definitely one of Scotland best Tracks, It's just a pity at the moment it's not open all year round!
