Hi Tam, thanks for taking the time out to talk with smx
TF:
Cool
SMX:
What kind of year have you had this year?
TF: Not so good,
broke my leg at Leuchars during the 2005 winter series, that set me back for
2006 a bit, I missed some of the club rounds but made the first Scottish.
Straight from the wheel chair to the bike, no practice!
SMX: It must have been hard
for you coming back from the injury onto the bike with no practice?
TF: yeh just a bit was
unfit couldn’t last a race but that’s the way it gose in motocross
SMX: where did you finish
in this years S/P 125 class?
TF: 2nd
SMX: You finished last year
on a Yamaha then went onto Suzuki now your riding a , KTM, why all the
changes?
TF: well my Yamaha was a
good bike but when I came to sand it was no good. So after I broken my leg
it was lying about for 4 months so we decided to sell it and then I got a
Suzuki and that was a night mare it broke down every week since new. So I
got a ktm and I love the ktm its been my best bike by far.
SMX: Which bike do you
prefer? Any particular reason?
TF: ktm as it has the
speed and it suits my riding style.
SMX: You were with team
Motone last season how was that for you and who are you with for next season
and why did you move etc…
TF: Yeh it was ok for me.
I just got a little help from motone.but every thing helps . I,m with
drysdale m/c for next season the reasons why aye moved………lol
SMX: What goals are you
aiming for in 2007? And in life?
TF: My goals in motocross
this year are to go to the British champs and get on the podium as much as
possible
SMX: who do you see as your
main rivals up here in Scotland! Sean perhaps?
TF: Yeah Sean is fast but
any one can be your rival on the day depends on how much you want it .
SMX: The 2007 championship
is over 9 rounds is this a good thing or too many races?
TF: Well I think it’s a
good thing because if you have a bad race you have a lot of races to catch
up points but different people have different views
SMX: Are you planning on
racing down south more next year? Bymx, British ?
TF: Next year am doing the
bymx which will be good and doing most of the Cumbria meetings.
SMX: Good luck with the
2007 season Tam! I
TF: No worries mate! I
would like to thank my dad for taking me to the racing and for all the
support he has giving me over all the years. Cheers! see you at the races!
