2006 Scottish Motocross Sponsorship details and dates

Next years Scottish open championship will again be sponsored by Bridgestone and Fun in the Mud!

Bridgestone / Fun In The Mud Scottish Open Championship

Other firms have also donated money to the final prize fund and I can now confirm that next years winner will receive £1000 2nd-£900 3rd -£800 4th- £700 5th-£600 6th-£500 7th-£400 8th-£300 9th-£200 10th-£100

Prize money per race is to be increased by 50% but will now only be paid to 10th place
£1.50 per point starting at 30 points for the winner (£45) down to 11 points for 10th place (£16.50)

We are also hoping to arrange a sponsor local to each meeting to run a holeshot competition at every round. If this can be arranged (and we have 3 organized already) the holeshot prize for each race will be £50, So if you holeshot each race and win it, and are using Bridgestone tyres, you could be going home with £285 plus a free rear tyre .Win all the rounds and collect an extra £1000 at the riders presentation at the end of the year.  You must come to the presentation to collect your cheques (no appearance means no cheque) If the Sponsors make the effort to come and present the awards at the presentation then it is only good manners for the recipients to be present to collect them.
