The Melville Motoduro

The Melville Motor Club is running a Motoduro on the 22nd January at Lochouses East Lothian. The circuit is the motocross track that has been used for the last two meetings. The format planned is a normal race programme for the Quads, autos and 65's with a practise and a single long race for the 85's, Youth 125's and Adult A, B and C's. Subject to the daylight available the plan is to run the 85's for 45 minutes, the youths one hour , and the Adults altogether for two hours.
The length of the races are set to dictate a fuel stop for most riders, adding an element of interest for family and helpers.
The Motoduro has proven very successful over the years and it is a particularly good event for first time riders.
There is always a good mix of motocross, enduro and first time riders as you are included in the results as long as you pass the finish at the end with your engine running. Some riders take it very seriously while others stop and start as they get tired.
Gordon Paterson is the event secretary once more and entries are available at gordon.paterson3@virgin.net or 07989474333
