In other words, this is the machine for the power crazy, the acceleration mad, the two-stroke fanatic. Perhaps not very civilised, but terribly sexy, full of character and above all unique!

With only 3 weeks to go before round 7 of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship comes to Duns, the track is now closed for all practicing to allow us to prepare the track for the forthcoming event. Sand is being added to certain corners, hundreds of tonnes of woodchip mulch is being mixed in with the existing soil. A few new obstacles and a couple of corner changes will also be introduced. There are also a few areas where we need to improve the drainage in case we get a lot of rain, and we'll also be building a large new pond... ...just in case the 23rd August event is too dry!!

Those looking for more information on the event should check out the official Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship website - http://www.mxgb.co.uk
