Here's Some Info about the Scottishmotocross web site:

I first got the idea to start the site from a friend that had a web site and offered to help get me going! I began with a free site and started to learn how to hand code in HTML which is basically the language that tells your browser what to display. My first ideas where to let everyone know what tracks there were in Scotland and then just progressed to where we are now.

That was over 2yrs ago and the site has changed a few times over that period, from getting a proper name and host to the latest face change which I hope you all like!

I'm very passionate about motox and have been since my first race back in the early 90's! and now my son's riding, it gives me even more pleasure helping and coaching him.....

The site still remain unbiased towards any Clubs, organisations etc and will continue promoting and spreading the word of SMX for years to come!!!! It does how ever need your help, please keep sending in the news and pictures and anything else you want to share! Web sites are only as good as the information that's on them and I try my best to keep it up to date, which isn't always possible, but I do endeavour, so please be patient and keep coming back!

Finally thanks for all your support over the last 2 years! without use there would be not point!

Roll on the Summer!!!!!!!

The site has been going for 2 yrs now and is going from strength to strength. It all started as a guide to my local tracks, then to most of the Scottish tracks, from there I started promoting and advertising up and coming meeting, AGM's and other interesting stuff that people wanted to know. The site is independant and doesn't belong to any club, organisations or governing bodies, I try to help everyone and advertise, report fairly! up until OCT 2006 the site has had over 300,000 visitors, and has now had its well over due face lift, which I hope will see it through the next few years!
